VERSION 4.1 LAUNCHED AS FREE UPGRADE |

– Renkus-Heinz, worldwide distributors of EASE
(Enhanced Acoustic Simulator for Engineers) has announced the
release of Version 4.1 of the leading electro-acoustic simulation
and analysis program, created by Acoustic Design Ahnert (ADA).
EASE 4.1 includes a number of enhancements that make the program
easier to use, speed up the modeling process and even further
improve the program’s legendary accuracy. Current EASE
and EASE JR users will be especially excited about the new Fix
Holes feature that not only finds modeling errors, it automatically
fixes all but the most extreme ones.
The AURA (Analysis Utility for Room Acoustics) module has also
been significantly upgraded with the addition of a new Diffuse
Rain algorithm that more precisely simulates the effects of
scattering (diffusion).
EASE 4.1 brings improved calculation support for Line Array
DLLs with newly available DLL libraries from Renkus-Heinz for
the PN/PNX 102 Line Array, and from other line array manufacturers.
A new "Fast Switching" function enables the user to
easily jump back and forth between the main EASE modules. Other
new features include extended evaluation functions like Distribution
Statistics and direct support for MS Excel in the EASE Mapping
modules.
The Project Data module offers a new Close Holes function as
well as new Extrusion, Insertion and Displacement functions.
The implementation of Air Attenuation according to ISO 9613-1
and many other features complete the update.
