Without doubt the most often
used simulation is Direct SPL. The reason is that many designers
follow the rule of thumb that if you have good direct sound
coverage you have a good system. Good coverage is usually
described as being flat within plus or minus 3 dB.
The Open GL architecture of EASE and EASE JR allows you to
view the results of the simulation from any angle. The 3D
views shown above are more striking and revealing than a straight
overhead view, commonly called a plan view.
