Foothill Ranch, CA, June 2010. It was a busy InfoComm Convention this year, with more than 32,000 visitors strolling the aisles at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Renkus-Heinz blue and white logo was everywhere, with a full program of events and presentations in the hall and at nearby venues.
The Renkus-Heinz booth was a non-stop hub of activity, with the company's Technology Theater featuring ongoing presentations by a who's who of industry experts, including Doug Fowler of Fowler Audio Service; James Brawley of JSB and Associates; John Murray of ProSonic Solutions; Bruce Olson of Olson Sound Design; Stefan Feistel of AFMG and Renkus-Heinz's own Rik Kirby.
The booth also hosted an SRO press event that was attended by many of the best-known editors and publishers in professional audio and multimedia from across six continents.
Over in the Renkus-Heinz Demo Suite, the company introduced a selection of new cutting-edge technologies, including two new additions to their acclaimed IC Live Series, the Iconyx ICL-LM-R low-mid frequency module and IC212S-R subwoofer. Also making its debut was the IC2 (IC Squared), the world's first crossover array, as well as the new CF/CFX Series modular point source line array loudspeaker system.
The company was also showing the new Aubion x.8, the new 8-channel A/D-D/A converter from Ahnert Feistel Media Group (AFMG).
As a Platinum Sponsor of the InfoComm 2010 Rental and Staging Forums, Renkus-Heinz was also present at several events at the Hilton, including the opening keynote address by Marthin De Beer, Sr. VP of Cisco; the Rental and Staging Events Awards, VIP Reception, and an Industry Forum panel moderated by L&SA's David Barbour.
"As busy as InfoComm was for us, no one at Renkus-Heinz is taking it easy after the show," reports Marketing Manager Margie Ulm. "We're already hard at work on other projects. Stay tuned for some even more exciting new announcements in the coming weeks."
