Developed jointly by SDA and PreSonus, the EASERA Gateway has been optimized for Dual-Channel-FFT and Time Delay Spectrometry (TDS) measurements that require extremely precise input data. Its two low-noise, high-headroom Class A preamplifiers deliver line level or microphone signals to high-performance 24 bit analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters. Digital audio data is transmitted to the EASERA host computer via FireWire. The EASERA Gateway is surprisingly affordable at only $450.00. Shipments ar expected to begin i December.

In addition, latency is stable for all supported sample rates: 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 88.2 kHz and 96 kHz. With the EASERA Gateway, EASERA users can take full advantage of EASERA’s powerful data capture and analysis tools and have a high degree of confidence in the accuracy and repeatability of their measurements.”
The EASERA Gateway captures audio signals with precision that matches the capabilities of SDA’s advanced software. Frequency response is flat from 10 Hz to 50 kHz. Dynamic range is 110 dB and THD is less than 0.005%. 48V phantom power is available to drive test and measurement microphones. Two balanced TRS line inputs on the rear panel supplement the mic level inputs on the front panel. Six rear-panel line outputs and a stereo headphone output offer plenty of monitoring options. Light and compact (1/3 RU), the EASERA Gateway makes a perfect travel companion to laptop computers running SDA’s EASERA or EASERA PRO software test and measurement systems.
The EASERA Gateway works with both four and six-pin FireWire (IEEE 1394) connectors and can be powered by either 6-pin FireWire bus power or an external power transformer.
