Modular Point Source Line Array
In a world of speakers designed to be everything for everyone, Varia is as unique as you need it to be. Designed to be the most flexible and versatile loudspeakers ever created, Varia’s highly configurable enclosures and innovative hardware make it easy to custom-design an array for every application.
Varia’s fully modular design enables cabinets to be easily configured as flown vertical arrays, powerful horizontal arrays, or ground stacked systems. With a range of vertical and horizontal dispersion angles and Renkus-Heinz’s unique transitional waveguides, Varia’s highly configurable enclosures and ingenious hardware make it easy to custom design a system for every application.
Varia VA101 (self-powered) and VAX101 (externally powered) cabinets are available in 7.5°, 15° and 22.5° enclosures, making them ideally suited for long vertical arrays or tightly packed horizontal configurations. Multiple waveguides include 60, 90, and 120 degree patterns, as well as proprietary progressive waveguides that can transition from 60° to 90° and 90° to 120° seamlessly within each cabinet. Matching VA/VAX15S 15-inch subwoofers can be flown alongside, behind, or at the top of the array, in standard or cardioid pattern. The result is a system that can be configured to deliver coverage for the most challenging spaces.
Each self-powered VA101 enclosure is equipped with a powerful, audiophile quality Class D digital biamplifier, delivering 500 Watts RMS to its woofer and 250 Watts RMS to its high-frequency drivers. Each amplifier features integrated RHAON (Renkus-Heinz Audio Operation Network) electronics with highly flexible input configurations for the most powerful digital signal processing available.
Varia integrates the highest quality components, powerful mid and low-frequency woofers, and lightweight neodymium Compression Drivers, all coupled to the industry’s most advanced cabinet and waveguide designs. Whether in permanent installations, on tour, or in rental inventories, Varia delivers the sound and performance you’ve come to expect from Renkus-Heinz.
Homestead, FL | February, 2015 - "When they walked in, their jaws dropped. They had dealt with poor coverage for so many years, it was amazing to them – to have every corner of the room covered perfectly, and how the PA cuts off right at the platform's edge. They could not believe how much clearer it sounded. VARIA's modular design enabled us to create a system with the power of a line array, but with the pattern control to cover the room very nicely." - Robert Bernecker, SEFI ConsultingRead More
